Putting Achievement First

I am very proud of Causeway School. It is a happy vibrant school where children and their achievement, aspirations and happiness comes first. Causeway is a small school which means we are able to really care for each individual and personalise the experience of school for all our children. The school continues to grow from strength to strength and our recent Ofsted praised, “Pupils’ attitudes to learning as positive because of strong relationships between staff and pupils”and said that community is at the heart of Causeway School, bringing together students, staff, parents and carers. My mission is to ensure that every single member of the school community is working towards a common goal and fostering happy, confident learners who will leave our school with the right life skills and qualifications for the world they are growing into.

We have been in partnership with Swale Academies Trust for the last 3 years and have been focusing on school improvement, collaboration and continuous learning for both our students and staff. From September 1st 2020 we formally converted to become a Swale Academy Trust School and as part of that we will continue to personalise students’ experience of school so they flourish and attain the highest possible standards academically, socially and morally. .

Students are at the centre of everything we do; putting their achievement and growth first, within a caring community rich with opportunity is my moral imperative. .

I hope you will get a sense of my vision and ambition, not only from the prospectus, but much more importantly from your visit to the school and from our students and teachers who make Causeway School the very special and unique place that it is. .

I look forward to welcoming you to the school. .
