Message from the Head of School: From Monday 15th June the school will start to welcome back Year 10 students and begin some "face to face" contact with their teachers. This has been planned following the most up to date guidance from the Government and DfE. Our Year 10 students and families have been written to outlining the detailed arrangements. For the days that Year 10 students are not in school the current arrangements for online learning will continue. For the rest of our school community the remote project based learning will continue until further notice. Further information & FAQs>

In The Event of an Emergency Closure

The decision to close a school is made by either the Headteacher or the Director of Children’s Services.

If Causeway School is to close for any reason the Headteacher will alert East Sussex County Council in the first instance.

The County Council will update their website with details of the closure and send out alerts to those parents who have opted to receive email alerts.

(Click here to find out more and to register for email alerts).

The County Council will also alert local radio stations (BBC Radio Sussex, Arrow FM, Bright FM, Sovereign Radio, Uckfield FM, Heart FM, Seahaven Radio).

The school will put a notice on the school website and texts will be sent to parents.
